Spike came to me during Covid as a rescue from a friend of a friend who had too many dogs. This woman had a massive stroke and was unable to return home so her friends were re homing the dogs that she rescued. Spike came into my home and immediately settled in with his two “ sisters “, Joanie and Patti.
Although he got along ok with his sisters, he preferred to not snuggle with them ( unless of course he needed their body warmth ) He was not a good leash walker but enjoyed the dog park. He would tuck himself into bed at night. Spike was an easy going fellow and never liked it when i was out of his site. He got so excited when i came home from work too! Spike’s 2nd half of his life was so much better than his first 1/2! I was honored to be able to provide this little pup a secure, loving, safe home. Spike loved me and I will remember his warmth the rest of my days. Rest in peace, little Spike!
